WHO SOLD? WHO DIDN'T? THIS WEEK CD SALES!!!

T-Pain debuts with the top hip-hop and R&B album at No. 4, Christina Aguilera reminds fans of her best hits, T.I.’s trail stops at No. 10, Q-Tip takes a tumble.

The Auto-Tune king has returned to the charts as T-Pain’s new album Thr33 Ringz leads the urban pack at No. 4 this week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Pain’s third project pushed a solid 167,700 copies in its first seven days on store shelves.

R&B heart throb Christina Aguilera also debuted this week with her greatest hits compilation Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits. The singer secured the No. 9 spot on the charts with the disc selling a stellar 72,900 units.

Already platinum in just over a month and a half, T.I.’s Paper Trail continues to steadily move albums as he slid three spots to No. 10 with 62,000 copies sold. After seven weeks in retail stores, the “King of the South” stands at 1,178,500 scanned discs.

R&B crooner John Legend dropped six spots to No. 12 this week as his third album Evolver pushed 49,900 units. Spending just three weeks on store shelves, the new project sits at 255,100 sold copies.

Keeping classy music relevant in today’s times, Ne-Yo’s Year of the Gentleman took a five-spot dip to No. 23 as his third project moved 26,800 albums. After nine weeks on the charts, the singer’s latest project stands at 600,000 copies sold.

With the longest running rap record on the charts right now, Lil’ Wayne has extended his summer release into the winter as Tha Carter III dropped seven spots to No. 26 selling 23,100 copies. After 23 weeks, Weezy has scanned 2,671,800 units.

Video vixen Rihanna also moved down this week falling ten spots to No. 31 as her re-released version of Good Girl Gone Bad sold 21,700 copies. After nearly a year and a half on the charts, she should easily go double platinum by next week with 1,997,800 copies sold.

R&B superstar Jennifer Hudson fell 17 spots landing at No. 33 selling 21,600 copies of her self-titled debut album. The Academy Award winning singer has continued to draw fans into stores as the new album sits at 434,600 discs sold.

Offering a new set of anthems this time around, Young Jeezy’s The Recession saw a significant drop this week falling 19 spots to No. 42 with 16,200 copies sold. Gaining a nice buzz with his new pro-Barack Obama record “My President is Black,” Jeezy’s third Def Jam release has sold 614,800.

Meanwhile, Robin Thicke held steady, showing the least amount of change as his new album Something Else dropping one spot to No. 47 selling 15,100 copies. Following-up his platinum-selling album The Evolution of Robin Thicke, the crooner’s latest release continues its steady pace with 258,900 units sold after seven weeks in stores.

Q-Tip’s Renaissance fell a deep 39 spots to No. 50 this week with 14,900 copies sold. Serving as his follow-up album to 1999′s Amplified, the former A Tribe Called Quest front man’s new disc rests at 49,100 units sold after two weeks on the charts.
