Comedians Steve Harvey and Katt Williams took the stage last night at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan for the Championship Of Comedy. From what I’m hearing from our folks in the D, Katt came out in a robe or something to play up the battle aspect.

Katt basically did jokes on Steve and threw in some new jokes in between each thing he would say about Steve.
Also, Katt Williams called Steve Harvey a bitch and said he can’t be a true King of Comedy because he wasn’t the first!!
Steve came to battle with nether sword nor shield. ( a older lady in the crowd took him off his game and he was unable to get back on track. She was drunk and disorderly) Kat came out strong and forged on to WIN the title as the New King of comedy!!

I think steve harvey should not have allowed jamie foxx and his low class goons make him respond to this. katt williams is a one note funny person. He does not have mass appeal. I still think its possible this is all a stunt. Steve Harvey has been known to still jokes-verbatim. I just hope its all over. I will always love steve harvey. Not a fan of Katt Williams chitterlings brand of humor.

Wow, I knew Katt was gonna kick ass, Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Steve Harvey but I must tell the truth. I’ve seen Steve time after time, I’ve seen Katt three times and KATT is the TRUTH. There is no doubt Katt’s show was “off the change” I paid for another ticket the next day to see him again. On the other hand, the last three times I saw Steve, I thought he was off, I didn’t enjoy him. As a matter of fact, when he came to the KODAK threatre her in Los Angeles this summer, I truly wanted my money back. Steve, never get into a ring with a man who has nothing to loose. You are funnier on the radio, at times than your concerts! but I still love ya! Katt U R THE MAN…..
I think Katt is a disrespectful little bitch he keep doing the same jokes from his first dvd. Steve harvey has been doing this for a while and appeals to many not just young black people. Katt was out of line and i will not support anything he does.
I am 64, therefor I still respect myself and others, I also realize that Niggas still exist, but not in the wholesale use as Kat uses the term. I thought it krass the way Kat came out toward the end of Steve’s show, it seems his whole monolog was all about Steve, and I don’t remember hearing any new jokes. I am not a follower of Steve or Kat, I don’t listen to his show in the morning for personal reasons. However, when kat started his rant about steve I was truly ready to go…..
When he said the establishment said he had to close the show, no one bood, applauded or anything, they just all got up on cue and headed for the exits, now what does that tell you?
The only funny part of the show was the first comedian, he did just what we came there for; to hear jokes…..
No offense Mr. Skip, I’m definitely not going to disrespect you, but I’m not sure if you knew about the pre-show happenings that went on. Katt Williams was upset about something Steve Harvey said and publicized his feelings. Jamie Foxx and his Foxxhole radio show (which u can hear on youtube) began instigating and blowing the situation up and making it a bigger beef. Steve Harvey called in and made some remarks about Katt and then it became a title match for King of Comedy. Thats why you heard all the jokes toward Steve.
In my personal opinion Katt is funny without all the vulgarity but I think he has a little man complex where he needs to show that just because he’s little he can still act hard.
I also don’t find Steve Harvey funny outside of the sitcom he did.
Lastly, it is my opinion that the only people who should be sharing a King of Comedy Crown are Redd Foxx, Richard Prior, Bill Cosby, Bernie Mac and for the new age, I’ll go with Dave Chappell. Just my opinion.
All of this is a croc of BS. Steve is funny in his own way, Katt is funny in his own way two totally different styles of comedy. I didn’t like the roasting on Steve, comedy is suppose to be comedy (tell jokes). If you want to wild out do it in a different format. Paying my money to hear somebody “CAP” on someone was not what I intended to get. I wanted jokes but didn’t get much of that at all from the second person (Katt). If you want to say he roasted Steve (yes he did) that’s fine but I have never seen that in a comedy show and quite frankly it wasn’t funny. You never heard Red Foxx roast Richard or vice versa.
Let’s be realistic. Roasting is a style of comedy that is HUGE in the black community. We sit around and we jone (I’m from the midwest)one another. I realize that Katt was clowning Steve on a personal level. I’m not sure what the real beef is, but obviously there is some. There are no real rules for comedy except to get out there and please your crowd. The crowd laughed at it and people have responded overwhemingly for what Katt said. In the end, Katt put his feelings out there and basically said F*ck what you thought, this is what I know. Not trying to compare, but Eddie Murphy put Bill Cosby on blast in RAW as well, and he included comments by Richard Pryor regarding Bill Cosby.
Yeah,,,that shows how talented Katt is. He made jokes about Steve and his routine right after he completed his set. I always say Steve Harvey caters to older people because he thinks he knows everything. He knows absolutely nothing. He needs to stop giving advice to people too. He makes no sense. Even when he did kings of comedy, he didnt have a routine except for dancing and introducing real talent. I mean please. Steve Hardly not.

THE SNAKE AND THE FOX…Steve Harvey the SNAKE has been in the game for 23 yrs, so he knows the game very well. As you may already know, the snake has a history of doing his dirt behind the scene and then plays the innocent in the fronts. He just a hater at his finest. The snake started this beef because his rating are deflating. Jamie the FOX let the snake pimp him out, he too had something to gain off this BS. Katt took it to Steve, not behind his back, but in his face and called him out. Read the whole entire story how Steve first diss Katt in front of his son and how this BS got started. Steve been crossing alot of good people throughout his years. I guess Steve is finally getting his just due.
