ording to Deshawn, The firing came as a surprise as they had just talked about a new season weeks beforehand. The producers excuse for removing her from the line up was her storyline was “too boring” and she wasn’t as outspoken as they would have liked during the filming of the show.
[One of the producers] called and said that I was “too human for a circus show” and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn’t think that I would fit in. He gave me an example, saying that during the reunion when I found out what a few of the other ladies said about me, they were expecting me to say more, but I’m not the type to go “television” and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me. I’m fine with the decision. It wasn’t my decision. They let me go and there are no hard feelings.
There were rumors that Usher’s wife Tameka Foster would be replacing her in the line up, but Tameka declined. Sheree Whitfield may get the boot as well now that the truth has revealed that she’s one missed child support payment away from filling out a Burger King application.

I’m still kind of mad at this. It seems like the purposely try to get rid of the “Anita Bakers” of the world. Drama is cool, but let’s have it in fair portions. I love women like Tamia Hill, DeShawn Snow, and especially the Editor and Chief over at Essence. Class, elegance, and drop dead gorgeous.
