Jamie Foxx’s statements to Miley Cyrus to “make a sex tape… do some heroin… and become a lesbian and catch chlamydia” is hurting his Hollywood cache, and it’s hurting his bankability at the box office. His newest film, The Soloist, brought in a disappointing $9.7 million last weekend. (Beyonce’s Obsessed, opened at number one with $28.5 million).
He’s made several statements apologizing for those comments, but hasn’t worked because the Cryus’ (Miley and her father, Bill Ray) are still angry.
So, in an effort to show how truly sorry he is, and get back in the Hollywood fold, Jamie has asked (begged) his 14-year-old daughter Corinne to write a letter to Miley in hopes of ending the feud.
“I don’t want to defend my position as a comedian to be further insensitive to Miley on Jay Leno. We apologized to Miley and reached out to her.. and so we’ll move on. My daughter has written a letter to her. We’re going to get that to her and like I said, I don’t want to defend it… you can’t defend it.”

Miley is such a talented performer. I adore all of her songs.
