She’s definitely back on her feet after her mishap with Chris Brown back February, but friends of Rihanna are now concerned the singer is not taking care of herself.

According to a tabloid report, the “Umbrella” songstress has been spending all of her free time partying, boozing and getting tattoos.

A source tells Britain’s Now magazine,

“Every night’s the same. She goes clubbing, downs shots and manages to stay up until the early hours.”

Reportedly, the singer’s friends are also worried about the tattoos she’s been getting – the most recent one containing a message saying

“Never a failure, always a lesson” inked on her breast.

A concerned friend says,

“She’s impulsive: she goes all out for something, but when it’s a 
tattoo, you can’t take it back.”

The following is a legitimate message I received from a trustworthy journalist I have known for years. It’s the Tiger-Elin incident finally put into reliable form, and I send along for no purpose other than to present the picture in its clearest form. —Furman Bisher

Forwarded story:

I have a Member who lives 10 houses down from Tiger in Isleworth. As we know Tiger’s agent is Mark Steinberg. My Member plays golf and is real good friends with another IMG Agent; who is very good friends with Steinberg and they share the same office. This information came from the other IMG Agent to my Member, and then to me today, and according to them is up to date as yesterday when my Member left Orlando.

On Thanksgiving Day, after he and Elin and the family had turkey dinner, he spent the rest of the afternoon on the couch watching football and texting Rachel. After each received and sent text message he would clear his message box to rid himself of the evidence. Sometime in between there, one of his Orlando buds called him to see if he wanted to get together at the Clubhouse to play poker with the guys, to which Tiger said yes. Tiger left the house around 7:30 to go play poker, and left behind his cell phone….and one message he had forgot to delete from Rachel.

When Tiger returned home around 11:30 -12 that night, Elin confronted him about the text message in the phone, and the started a heated discussion to its regards. According to what I was told, there was more “incriminating evidence” than just the text message (i.e. photos). Tiger tried to play it off to Elin by telling her she was reading too much in to it, and did not know the story, etc. Tiger went upstairs to change into his gym shorts and t – shirt, came back down, and Elin confronted him again; to which Tiger gave the same story. Tiger sat down in a chair in the living room, and Elin sat across from him urging Tiger to just come clean. Tiger stayed to his guns and denied everything. At one point Tiger turned away to look at the TV, and as he turned back, Elin hit him on the right side of the face with the head of a 9 – iron. When she struck Tiger, she put a huge gash in the right side of his face next to his nose (causing his nose to bruise some), and virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out, and breaking the bone on the upper right side. Tiger ran scared as hell out of the house (which is why he had on no shoes) with Elin swinging the golf club throughout the hallway to the garage (i.e. causing the severe damage which has been reported). Tiger hoped in the Escalade and tried to leave; and as we know Elin knocked out the windows in the Escalade. When Tiger crashed, Elin panicked and was not sure what to tell the police (which is why there are two conflicting stories from her). When this happened, Elin immediately called Mark Steinberg to tell him what happened, and Mark told Elin to tell him what hospital they were going to, and he would meet them there.

Tiger is transported to the hospital with Elin in the ambulance, and as they arrive Mark is there waiting for them. The people from the hospital and the doctors take Tiger in for X-Rays etc to check out the damage caused. The doctors tell Mark there is not much they can do to repair the teeth and the gash, but the doctor knows a cosmetic dentist and plastic surgeon in Phoenix who will make Tiger look as if nothing happened. Tiger tells Mark to get the jet ready and let’s head to Phoenix to get this done. Friday after Tiger is released from the hospital, he does not return home; he and Mark board the plane for Phoenix. If you remember FHP kept showing up at Isleworth to talk to Tiger, and was told by another FL attorney (who Tiger hired for PR reasons) Tiger was not ready to talk. Well now we know why, he was in Phoenix, and did not arrive back in Orlando until either late last Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. The surgeries were more intense than what they had originally planned, which meant Tiger was in PHX longer than he should have been. Upon arriving back in Orlando, Tiger and Elin have been in intense marriage counseling sessions (up to 6 to 7 hours a day) every day! Both Tiger and Elin have told the counselors they love each other, and want to make the marriage work. The reports you are reading on TMZ and RadarOnline are about 30% accurate at best according to Mark.

In regards to Tiger’s boat being in Palm Beach this week, along with Rachel; that part is true. However, Tiger is not on the boat, and is not in Palm Beach; and Rachel is not on the boat. Her parents live 6 blocks from where the boat is, but that is it. Tiger has not returned to his house at Isleworth since the day of the accident except for the therapy sessions. IMG has enlisted the assistance of one of its most recognized sports figures, and Tiger has taken up residence in his neighborhood, Bay Hill. IMG contacted Arnold Palmer because of the high regard in which Tiger holds Arnold. Arnold has agreed, and IMG has said if anyone can get through to Tiger, Arnold may be the only person who can, based on his public persona when he was at the height of his game as well. The moving trucks being shown on TMZ and RadarOnline are moving out pictures and furniture which was damaged during their Thanksgiving Day argument; not of her moving out. Yes, Elin has retained a divorce attorney, but has not filed any papers, and as of yesterday had no intention on doing so. Tiger has not made any public appearances or statements due to the surgery and plastic surgery he had in PHX. It will be about another month if not more before he gets in front of a camera. Yes, Tiger is hitting golf balls late at night at Bay Hill out of their teaching center (which is equipped with lights).

Rap mogul Diddy recently revealed that he went to therapy after the death of Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace. The entrepreneur-turned-rapper also confessed to visiting a therapist following his relationships with Kim Porter and Jennifer Lopez.

Diddy says that when his life has gotten to be a little too much in the past, he has turned to experts. Diddy feels that his psychotherapists’ advice has been invaluable in his life.

He recently told Playboy magazine in am interview, “I’ve gone to therapy for relationships I’ve been in, for tragedies I’ve been through. I think therapy is good. I’ve been called bipolar – I’m not; I just have very drastic mood swings. I went to therapy when Big died, but a lot of my therapy has been with love and relationships. I’ve had therapy about my relationship with Kim, about my relationship with Jennifer. Therapy helped me through a lot of those situations.”

Florida Rapper Plies is rumored to be in the custody of federal agents after a show in Atlanta this weekend. After his Hoot 107.9 Jingle Bash performance in Atlanta the rapper was walking back to his tour bus and apparently was arrested. An unidentified witness stated, “He was walking to his bus when they ran up on him and arrested him.” His arrest is unconfirmed and there aren’t any other details about the incident.

Plies was arrested for gun possession on July 2, 2006 after two members of his entourage opened fire into the crowd of a Gainesville, Florida club. Right now, we don’t know if there was even an arrest let alone of it stems from these old or new charges.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

Wrapping at the end of its fifth season in the spring of 2010, it will be lights out for the show that brought viewers memorable weave-exposing, cellulite-revealing and tear-jerking moments.

Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Sticking to her mission, Banks aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider.

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says.

Atlanta rapper T.I. was officially been released from a low-security federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas yesterday (December 22).

The rapper, born Clifford HarrisJr., reported to Dismas Charities Atlanta West correctional center last night, where he will spend three months.

T.I. was sentenced to 366 days in prison after an October 2007 incident, in which federal agents caught him attempting to purchase three machine guns and two silencers.

The rapper, who faced up to 10 years, had given almost $21,000 in cash to a bodyguard who had illegally purchased as many as 25 guns on behalf of the Atlanta rapper just before the BET Awards.

But how will Tip be able to spend his days now that he’s at Dismas?

Bart Borders, an Atlanta music manager who has been living at Dismas for the past month gives insight,

“Bart, who is out on work pass until 10:30 p.m. on weeknights and 11:30 p.m. on weekends, said the facility holds about 120 male inmates and 20 females — yes, females! “But they have to stay on their side,” said Bart. “The only time we get to interact with (the females) is around meal time.”

He said the halfway house has two TV rooms and two living rooms, and the food there isn’t worth writing home about. “The food ain’t worth nothing. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,” he said.

“But T.I. has his own money, he can order out.”

Bart, who manages rapper T. Waters, a So So Def artist, said T.I. probably won’t be able to leave on work release until after the New Year. But even then, he’s not allowed to work for himself or for his family. So he can’t work for Grand Hustle or any company he owns.**

“If I see him when I get there I’ll tell him wherever he work at to make as least money as possible, because they getting 25% of his gross.”

After he has finished his stay at Dismas Charities Atlanta West, the rapper must complete 500 hours of community service, in addition to another 23 days of house arrest.

T.I. is expected to work during the three months he is confined to the halfway house, according to reports.

50 Cent has reportedly experienced a slight case of deja vu as G-Unit producer DJ Whoo Kid publicly revealed to fans that the rap mogul was confronted on-stage by a fan while performing in Nigeria.

According to Whoo Kid, the incident took place Monday (December 21) night.

Over the weekend, Beanie Segel was involved in a very bad car accident in Baltimore. The car was ran off the road by a tractor-trailer. The rapper was detained in Texas Friday night after U.S. Border Patrol officers found marijuana on two of his tour buses, authorities told the Associated Press.

Lil Wayne was questioned along with 11 others from his entourage, then released. His case was referred to a local sheriff’s office, officials said.

Drug dogs detected the odor of substances on one of the buses when officials pulled the convoy over in Falfurrias, Tx., border officials said.

The “Lollipop” chart-topper will begin a yearlong prison term in February after pleading guilty in October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in New York. That charge also stemmed from a 2007 traffic stop of his tour bus.

Jermaine Dupri appeared on Atlanta DJ Ryan Cameron’s V103 morning show yesterday (December 16) and spoke about Da Brat and her incarceration. She’s currently serving a three year sentence for assaulting a woman with a bottle in his Atlanta nightclub two years ago. The So So Def CEO said that she’s good, she’s ready to come home and he’s trying to get her out soon. Dupri corresponds with Da Brat through letters, but when asked about his visiting her, he had choice words for people talking publically about the situation without knowing the facts.

“Those people, they don’t really know me, you know what I mean, like that…to, to even say nothing about what I’m doing with my personal situation when it comes to Brat. When Brat come home, all I know is I’m gonna be the person that takes care of her, make sure she get back on her feet, and do what they gotta do. They not, so they shouldn’t even worry about that. they should support her and go see her. but they should never speak my name in they mouth. they don’t have nothing to do with me. basically, for real. When you say that, you talking about somebody else. that’s just like everybody talking bout tiger woods. we know nothing about the situation, everybody should shut up. do what you do, if you gonna support the situation then cool, but don’t speak on me not going.

JD goes on to explain why he hasn’t visited Da Brat since she has been incarcerated.

“I felt a certain way about seeing Brat in jail. you know what I mean, so Yea, I don’t wanna see that, that’s my little sister and I don’t really wanna deal with that situation like that. I would prefer dealing with getting her out and you know, seeing that day as opposed to just going to see her.”

We have learned that last month Beyonce’s mom filed to DIVORCE her dad Mathew.

And there’s a lot of money to divide up. Mathew, as Beyonce’s manager got approximately 25% of Beyonce’s $150M earnings during her career, which amounts to $37.5 million to date.

But here’s where it gets INTERESTING!!!  Beyonce is set to sign a $300 MILLION deal with Las Vegas’ Wynn Casino. If that deal goes through, Mathew stands to get $75 MILLION.

This is Rihanna at her most flamboyant, her most gruff, and you can tell she’s loving every second of it, like a little girl given the keys to a massive wardrobe. Lil Wayne’s gonna have to reschedule his Valentine’s Day plans — because a judge just set the rapper up with a romantic stint behind bars.Weezy was finally given a start date to serve his one year jail sentence after pleading guilty to weapons charges — and his first day will be February 9th …one week after his new album drops. Wayne didn’t say one word during his brief appearance in Manhattan State court today. So far, no word on where Wayne will serve his time.

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna has cleared up rumors that she has herpes of the mouth an that her affliction allegedly kicked off the domestic dispute with former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna she said the alleged “herpes” is nothing more than a simple scar.

“It’s a f*cking scar,” she revealed in an interview. “On my lip. That’s there every day of my life. At first I was like, Are you serious? Early rumors said Rihanna gave Brown herpes from Jay-Z.

Lil Wayne’s recently delayed album, Rebirth, has reportedly found its way into roughly 500 Amazon customers’ hands as the online retail site sent pre-purchases this week.

Despite the project being pushed to February, early copies have already hit the public.

About 500 Amazon customers who pre-ordered the album are enjoying the record already, thanks to a shipping mishap. According to sources and an e-mail to Billboard from an Amazon customer, the online merchant sent copies of the album to some customers who pre-ordered “Rebirth.” The album began arriving in mailboxes on Monday, Dec. 14, despite a change in the street date from Dec. 21 to February 1. Although Amazon received the word to return the Lil Wayne album, supposedly about 500 copies were sent to customers. An Amazon spokesman didn’t respond to an e-mail request for a comment.

Atlanta rap star T.I. is expected to be moved to a halfway house shortly after the first of the year as he nears the end of his federal prison sentence for illegal firearms possession and for possessing a gun as a convicted felon, officials confirmed Tuesday.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., began serving his sentence of a year and a day at a low-security prison in Arkansas last May. He is expected to be released from Bureau of Prisons custody on March 23, after serving 85 percent of his sentence.

Bureau of Prisons spokesman Edmond Ross said it was customary for an inmate to transition from prison to freedom via a halfway house if there is no danger to the community and if there is space at a facility near where he is to live after his prison time.

Usually that process begins when there are 18 months remaining on a sentence, “but in this case it would have to start sooner. It’s not uncommon for inmates to be placed in community corrections for the last portion of their confinement to help with his transition.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs recently sat down with Playboy magazine and discussed his lone attempt at dealing drugs. Apparently, some of his buddies were selling down in Maryland and Washington D.C. and a juvenile and poor Diddy was jealous of their fancy cars and jewelry. He decided to hit the streets and make some dirty money as quickly as possible.

“I go out on the block, the strip where they’re selling drugs, and my man says, ‘OK, I’m going to give you this. You wait there. They’ll come up to you,’” Diddy recounted. “I’m out there five minutes when three cop cars pull up and officers jump out and start chasing me. I ran and got away. We convene in the same place two hours later. This time it’s dark, and all of a sudden a van pulls up. Cops jump out and start chasing me again. There’s a helicopter overhead with a light following me through the woods.”

Although helicopter cover for a basic street-level drug deal is almost unheard of, Puff continued, “I wanted to go home, but I didn’t know how to punk out and tell them. The cops were outside responding to a couple having an argument below us … I turned into a scared white Harvard student. God was sending me signals. I told my friends, ‘Thanks y’all, but no thanks. This game is not for me.’ I walked out that door, and I ain’t been around nobody with no drugs.”

After blasting off in a series of tweets this past weekend about his cd being blackballed, Chris decided to delete his mechanical dummy twitter account for good this morning.

Chris Brown feels that he has been “blackballed” from retail outlets like Wal-Mart. Over the weekend, Chris just went off on everybody from haters to people at the stores. He may have some valid points, but Twitter is probably not the best outlet. ANYWAY, somebody with some sense pulled the plug and rightfully so. Chris was doing more harm than good.

Incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane updated fans this week on his relationship with former rival Young Jeezy and said music heads should prepare to hear an upcoming collaboration.

Speaking on the surge of joint records he has done for 2009, Gucci revealed an upcoming Jeezy collabo set to drop in January 2010.

“I learned in the rap game, once you got heat people wanna stand next to you,” Gucci revealed in an interview with radio personality Big Boy. “Once I established myself as being a credible artist as someone who could make some money — then in that time, the people wanna bring something to the table…Before the conversation we had collaborated, we had been talking. And we kinda had a mutual agreement together. Both of us are so big and got so many people that wanna party with us, it’s kinda selfish to say we travel around the world — I knew me personally, I didn’t want that on my hands…We already collaborated on two songs, one is already out and one is debuting in a few weeks.

Yes, Rihanna’s back: With a new album, a new willingness to speak about Chris Brown, and a new look so sexy that…well, take a peek yourself. Lisa DePaulo sits down with Pop’s reigning princess to talk about all of that—and to ask a few tough questions she hasn’t answered anywhere else.

RIHANNA IS RUNNING LATE. Several hours late. Her fluffy bronze poodle, Oliver, arrives before she does, with his own entourage. There is much fussing over the dog (”You smell like your mommy”) outside the soundstage in Burbank, where the musicians and crew for her upcoming world tour are waiting and pacing. Almost everyone but the poodle is chain-smoking cigarettes. It’s been one of those weeks. A few days before, Rihanna spilled her guts to Diane Sawyer about the “whole Chris Brown thing,” as the musicians call it, and though the interview hasn’t aired yet, the buzz is on. She has also been saying things like, “I’ve put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music,” which might explain some of what’s emanating from the studio. Is that Rihanna, the sweet girl from Barbados, dropping the N-bomb? Her new album, Rated R, is, to put it mildly, edgier than the under-my-umbrella stuff that sold 12 million records. One song, called “G4L” (Gangsta for Life), sounds like a revenge fantasy, with her homegirls arming themselves with guns to go out and fuck somebody up. On another track, she talks about getting her hair pulled during sex. She’s made her point.

But apparently not enough. Rihanna’s image—so carefully crafted and handled and managed from the moment she was plucked, at age 15, from a girl group in Barbados by a producer who would squire her to his home in Stamford, Connecticut, get her a record deal with Def Jam, and send her on her way to superstardom—had gotten all twisted up in the “Chris Brown thing.” In the record business, domestic violence isn’t just a tragedy; it’s an image crisis. So now Team Rihanna had to decide how to “handle it.” Their plan was this: She’d talk about it for the release of the album. She’d do Diane and Glamour and announce that she wanted to help young women who’d been in her position. Even if that meant addressing what really happened that ugly night last February, when she and Chris Brown left a pre-Grammy party, gorgeous, smiling, and posing, got into his car, and she later emerged bloody, bruised, and bitten.

Before I even meet Rihanna, I feel for the girl. It’s bad enough to have the guy you’re madly in love with beat the shit out of you. It must be quite another thing to have this whole apparatus surrounding you (and your poodle), making you confront this horrible episode on public terms. And then what? If you say you want to help young women, can you really stop talking after the publicity blitz is over? And should you have to go through any of this? Not to get all domestic-violence preachy, but what Robyn Rihanna Fenty endured, at the tender age of 20 (when Chris Brown beat her up, she was two weeks shy of her twenty-first birthday), is not something that is likely to go away after the world tour.

On the lot in Burbank, the star’s new single, “Wait Your Turn,” keeps blasting through the walls of Studio 10. And finally, a flurry of excitement outside. Rihanna has arrived, in the backseat of an Escalade. Her driver pulls up to the double doors of the soundstage and idles for a good ten minutes while she slowly, extravagantly, applies mascara. Then she emerges, in the dramatic fashion that stars like Rihanna do naturally when exiting vehicles. The pause, then the ta-da. Like there are paparazzi waiting. (There aren’t.) The first impression is pure tough girl. The overly zippered jeans, the black boots, the gray hoodie, the big silver metallic bag that she swings over her shoulder like it’s a weapon, and the new hair (shaved and brown on the sides, pineapple blond on top). “That is the fucking bomb, that hair,” one of the crew tells her. I introduce myself. “Sweet,” she says, not very sweetly, and turns toward the studio. She wants to be alone first to say hello to her crew. “I’ll meet you down there, okay?” she says. Okay. “Sweet,” she says again.

“Down there” is another huge studio, filled with naked mannequins—something about the promo for the album launch. And now she is ready. Her manager, who is dressed in a faux version of Rihanna (boots, jeans, hoodie), accompanies her. We each take a seat on a wooden crate. Except for the manager, who stands two feet away. And stays there.

You’ve had a crazy couple of days.

Yeah.

Now that you’re talking about everything, is it hard, or is it liberating?

Very liberating. It’s relieving. Because it was built up for so long, and all these thoughts and emotions have been running through my mind for the past eight months. And now it’s like I finally get to let go and move on.

Is it therapeutic to talk about it?

Um, I don’t like talking about it a lot. But every time I do, it’s better; it’s easier each time.

Because you said something about wanting to give some insight to young women.

Mm-hmm.

And that’s a brave thing. You could have said nothing.

Mm-hmm.

What made you decide that this was the right thing to do?

Because I wanted to move on. And I knew that was the only way I could have done it. And I wanted people to move on with me. ‘Cause the last big thing they know about me is That Night. And I don’t want that to be what people define me as.

Before I came here—I live across the street from a pretty tough public school in New York City. And I went to talk to the girls there.

Oh, wow.

Just to say, “Hey, I’m going to meet Rihanna. What would you like to know?” And it was interesting, because a lot of them had been in your situation, and they wanted to know how you handled it. Are those the insights you’re talking about?

I guess definitely. I just knew I’d be good one day. I just knew it. So I just kept waiting for that day. Like, you know, even though it was tough the entire time, there were ups and downs, I just kept knowing: I’m gonna get over it one day. I’m gonna get over it.

Who helped you through it?

Nobody.

Really?

The Hovering Manager interrupts for the first time. “Ri, can you come over here for two seconds?” she asks. Rihanna looks at her quizzically. “There’s an issue with a track,” says HM. “What track?” says Rihanna. HM’s eyebrows raise. “Can you just come over here for a second?” she says tersely. Rihanna obeys. The two move a few feet away. Much whispering ensues, but there’s no communication with the people working in the soundstage. Then Rihanna returns to her wooden crate. The first thing she says is “I’m sorry.”

You were saying, before you had to walk away, that nobody helped you through it. Really?

Nobody. Really just music. And working. ‘Cause I didn’t really want to be around anybody, for them to stare at me and stuff, and feel sorry for me. So I just—I stayed in the house a lot. Then I started to get cabin fever. I was like, I’m going crazy in here.

But what about all the friends you’ve met…you have a great relationship with Jay-Z. With Justin Timberlake. Were all these people supportive of you through the past eight months?

Absolutely.

But you still felt alone?

Me and Jay-Z, we have a very close relationship, so he was there helping me through it and giving me advice and guidance, and just words of support. Like, strength.

Were you in shock?

Initially. I would say the first…the first seventy-two hours after I realized, it hit. The entire thing was kind of a daze. I was confused. It was a little weird, but…but then, after, I was getting bored of being in the house and sittin’ around. I called Jay Brown—he’s my A&R—and I was like, “I want to get back to the studio. I want to get back.”

In one of the tracks on the album, you sing about thinking you might die…did you think you would die that night?

No…no.

It must take a lot of strength to deal with all this. I mean, just the basic things. Like, how did you have the presence of mind to call 911?

I didn’t call 911. No. I know everybody thinks I did, but it was someone else…It was…

Rihanna looks at the Hovering Manager and then mutters something about having just spoken to Diane Sawyer about all this. But here’s the weird thing: You get the feeling that Rihanna still has a lot to say. Her eyes are wet when anything Chris Brown-related comes up. She has a tendency to stare off into the distance when she talks about It—but then she meets the glare of the manager. Maybe she does want to go there—and can’t. Or perhaps it is dawning on Rihanna that to really step out and be the kind of advocate she says she wants to be is another burden altogether.

When you say you want to give insight to young women—what was the biggest insight you got? What did you learn?

Um…really really really that love is blind. It took a lot of strength to pull out of that relationship. To finally just officially cut it off. It was like night and day. It was two different worlds. It was the world I lived for two years, and then having the strength to say, “I’m gonna step into my own world. Start over.”

What was harder, the physical pain or the emotional pain?

Definitely not the physical pain. The physical pain comes and it goes. The bruises fade away. But the thing that stays with you is the emotional scars.

You were in love.

Yeah.

And you were a kid.

Yeah.

Do you think you two will ever be friends?

Mmm. Maybe in like ten years, you know? But it’s not something that I’m depending on. I’m not depending on his friendship.

Right. How do you ever trust again?

I can trust. I mean, I don’t like to stereotype; I believe everybody’s an individual. You can’t judge someone based on someone else’s actions. There are people in the world who will love you and people in the world who will hurt you, and there are people in the world who will do both.

Do you think a man who does something like that can change?

Absolutely. Yeah. Some of them won’t change and some of them will—but you know, very few of them change.

By the way, did you ever graduate high school?

No. I wanted to. I just got really busy.

You know, when I talked to those high school girls…and this illustrates how difficult a problem it is: Their first question was “What did she do to get hit?”

Mm-hmm.

And I thought, Oh God, how awful is it that they’d ask that question.

Mm-hmm. After everything happened, it was a wake-up call to me…I didn’t realize how much of an effect it had on young girls’ lives, and that’s part of the insight that I wanna give. Stop blaming yourself for that outcome. There’s nothing you can do, ever, to excuse a man’s behavior like that.

Did you blame yourself?

Initially? I mean…actually, no, I never blamed myself, but I wondered what, what did I do to provoke it?…

This is the breaking point. Hovering Manager chimes in with “You’ve exhausted it now.”

Okay. Well then. How did the cover shoot go? I heard the pictures are really hot.

It’s very sexy, yeah. At one point L.A. Reid came into the shoot, and he was like, “Rihanna, put some fucking clothes on!”

Uh, there’s nothing that I, like, specifically think to put out there. There’s not a lot more that I can possibly put out there. Everything’s out there. I mean, people are just, you know, they misperceive me.

How so?

They just don’t understand me. I just think people straight up don’t know who I am; they just know what I look like, they know the idea of me. But—they’ll learn more this time, because now I let my guard down, and I’m more comfortable just being myself. That’s exactly what I want to be. And even on the album, you definitely get a gist of my personality.

More than with your previous songs?

Definitely. Definitely. It tells my story a lot.

Because in a weird way, no one should have to go through anything that bad to get to another level, but it does seem to have gotten you to another level.

It absolutely does.

But I’m curious. What exactly do you think people think about you that’s wrong?

It’s not really anything that’s wrong. It’s just weird when I read about myself. Like how one simple thing can be turned into something different.

Like when people were talking about communicable diseases?

Hmm?

When people were bringing up herpes, for instance. Saying that’s why he hurt you—

Right. And it’s not true. It’s a fucking scar. On my lip. That’s there every day of my life.

It must be hard reading that kind of stuff.

It’s not like it’s hard. It’s more ignorant. At first I was like, Are you serious? First I thought people were gonna definitely know that that’s not…But when I read it, and I see that people just buy into that…Like, the minute they see it, it forms something in their head.

Famous Memphis rapper Gangsta Boo turned herself in to authorities on Tuesday (December 7) in connection with the robbery of an Olive Branch, Mississippi retail store.

Gangsta Boo, born Lola Mitchell, was arrested and released on $100,000 bond after she was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Police are investigating Gangsta Boo’s role in the armed robbery of a Dollar General store on July 23.

One man, Marcus Curtis, 30, has been arrested and charged as the gunman who committed the crime.

Curtis allegedly accosted a female employee with a black revolver, as she was closing the discount store shortly before 9:00 PM.

He is accused of entering the store, forcing employees to empty a safe and ordering the terrified workers to lay face down while he fled the scene of the crime.

Gangsta Boo, a former member of Oscar-Award winning group Three 6 Mafia, has recorded with nationally known rappers like Ludacris, Outkast, Lil Jon and numerous others.

She is due in court to answer the charges on January 5.

Yesterday (December 9), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David S. Cunningham ordered Nas to pay $51,101 a month in spousal and child support to ex-wife Kelis.

Cunningham made his ruling following two days of testimony from Nas and Kelis.

Kelis verified that she inked a new recording contract with Interscope Records for $175,000. However, her attorney explained that the majority of that sum was paid out to her managers, leaving the singer with only $50,000.

When cross-examined, she told Nas attorney Mark Kaplan that her comeback career was a far cry from her former chart topping fame circa the 2003 single “Milkshake,” indicating that her latest song was quietly dropped on Twitter.

Her income could also not be determined, as documentation shows Kelis has not filed an income tax return in years.

In Nas’ testimony, the Queens legend confirmed that he would not release solo album in 2010, but did not disclose whether that included his Damian Marley collaboration LP Distant Relatives. His statements also revealed that he owed $700,000 to his manager, and $2.5 million in back taxes to the IRS.

Along with the spousal and child support decree, Nas is now relieved of having to pay the $13,000 a month mortgage for the ex-couple’s Los Angeles home, in which Kelis currently resides.

Before yesterday’s verdict, Nas was reportedly paying close to $40,000 a month in temporary support.

At press time, neither Nas nor Kelis have personally commented on the ruling.

Beyonce is supposedly about to sign a deal for a Vegas show that will pay her about $750,000 per show at the Wynn hotel. This will be a long-term deal. (300 Million for the next 3 years.)

But here is the catch; I heard that the money could go as high as $1 million in paper per show.

Beyonce will have to perform two to three times a week at the casino. And that means that her and husband Jay Z will have to set up a permanent residence in Sin City.

They’re not wasting any time doing so, either. According to our insiders, Jay and Beyonce are house hunting looking in Vegas as we speak. They even looked at one 10,000 square foot mansion just down the street from boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
