Lindsay Lohan is “scared to death” about going to jail, and is planning to appeal her 90-day sentence with a new lawyer, her mother Dina Lohan said in an interview.

“She’s a fighter, and until the final result — we’re not giving up,” Dina Lohan told celebrity news television show Entertainment Tonight in an interview to be broadcast on Friday.

“I think it’s time we get another attorney just to see it from another light and do damage control,” she added, saying her daughter hoped to file an appeal.

Lindsay is scheduled to begin her 90 day jail sentence in just a few weeks, on July 20. She was ordered to jail by Judge Marsha Revel, who is clearly tired of Blo-han’s dumb sh*t, because she ruled on Tuesday that Lindsay violated her probation for a 2007 drunk driving and cocaine possession case by failing to attend weekly alcohol education classes imposed by the court.

What a moron…

We gotta applaud Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley because she abruptly quit on Thursday, hours after issuing a statement calling the sentence “harsh and unfair” but stating that Lohan was prepared to serve her jail time and comply with the court’s orders.”

Holley did not give a reason for leaving, but Dina Lohan suggested Lohan’s team was unhappy with her work.

“I feel like Shawn, Lindsay’s attorney, should have stood up (in court on Tuesday) and said, ‘Listen, I didn’t know you were going to have witnesses.’ We would have had ten witnesses. We didn’t get a shot. We didn’t get a shot at fairness,” Dina Lohan said. “It’s very difficult, we’re not sleeping well, we’re not functioning. We cry a lot and we hug a lot. She’s petrified, we all are. We’re angry. We’re disappointed in the system,” Dina Lohan said. “Lindsay’s scared to death.”

Sounds like some bulldooky to us. It’s more likely old girl was tired of Lindsay’s bullsh*t too. And as for being scared to death. It’s about damn time. She wasn’t scared to death when she hijacked them boys on the PCH or had Samantha Ronson filing restraining orders. SMH!

Martin Lawrence and his longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, were married in an intimate wedding on Saturday at the actor’s home in Beverly Hills, PEOPLE confirms.

Lawrence, 45, and Gibbs, 35, exchanged Christian vows in the backyard in front of 120 guests, including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. Their daughters Lyana, 9, and Ameria, 7, and Lawrence’s daughter Jasmine, 14, from a previous marriage were flower girls.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds joined their guests under a tent for a reception. For the family-style celebration, event designer Diann Valentine arranged for two long tables in the shape of an “X” for all the guests to sit together. “They wanted an intimate celebration,” says a source. “This wedding was all about family.
