DMX’s scheduled Colorado Springs concert last night (October 16) turned into a riot after the Yonkers artist clashed with local police over his headlining set.

The show was supposed to be for American Charities, and X made it to the venue around 11pm. Upon his arrival, the multi-platinum artist was accosted by a security guard and told he could not perform.

DMX was furious, and inquired as to why he couldn’t fulfill his contractual obligations. The guard explained that he was allegedly supposed to be there by 9:30PM, and fans had already been told he wasn’t coming.

During the back and forth, the security guard threatened to have X arrested if he attempted to get on stage, a warning the rapper scoffed at.

“ for what?! You ain’t no police!” DMX argued. “I’ve been paid to perform.”

When X attempted to force his way on stage, several authorities tackled him to the ground. His entourage and fans joined the fracas, and DMX’s publicist Pam Pinnock reportedly suffered a minor concussion and face laceration after being trampled on the floor.

DMX eventually made it to the stage, but was not given the supporting sound system to appease his chanting fans.

While details are still being revealed, the American Charities’ strict refusal to let DMX perform is allegedly the result of the non-profit not having the remaining money needed to cover X’s performance. The rapper was paid an $8000 deposit, with a remaining amount of $7000 to be delivered upon the show’s completion.

Instead of informing DMX’s management, the show promoters allegedly opted to completely cancel the set rather then negotiate a new arrangement.

Last year, DMX had a similar situation at Indiana University, when police caused a brief riot by shutting down the rapper’s set for not taking the stage on time for a scheduled 8:30PM performance.

At press time, neither DMX nor a representative from American Charities could be reached for comment.

DMX is in trouble again. Less than a month ago X was sent to solitary confinement for threatening a correctional officer, now DMX is in the hot seat again. DMX apparently attacked a Sheriff’s detention officer while on lockdown in a Arizona prison. If authorities take action, DMX could be charged with aggravated assault and face up to 8 more years behind bars. As previously reported, DMX is serving a three month (90 day) sentence for drug, theft and animal cruelty charges. On the 8th of this month, DMX was put into 23-hour-a-day lockdown following an incident where he allegedly threatened a correctional officer.

DMX is officially on “lockdown status” in Arizona’s Tent City Jail for one of the dumbest moves an inmate can make — dude threatened to fight the guards.

After X failed to report for his medication, officials say the former platinum rapper began cussing at officers and threatened to “assault somebody to get some respect.”

DMX was immediately thrown into lockdown and punished with a “special diet that is a form of bread and water.”

It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, “I already have a job and don’t need this (expletive).”

Sounds like he’s finally reforming…

No it’s not more legal trouble, but it isn’t good news. DMX’s home in Cave Creek, Arizona has been foreclosed. SWAT team raids destroyed the carpets and left windows and doors blown out allowing things to be stollen. “I think people showed up, walked the house and took what they wanted,” says Andrew Wheeler, who is in charge of selling the home. The things left at the house were thrown into the pool, leaving the only sign of DMX being an old magazine cover hanging out of a car window. According to the realtor, the quad-motorcycles DMX was often seen riding on the property, were stolen, along with almost everything else, leaving behind a damaged shell of a once-glamorous home. X paid around $600,000 for the house in 2003 and the bank set the sale price for $429,000. DMX is currently in jail, waiting to be sentenced on animal cruelty, theft and drug convictions.

Multi-platinum rapper DMX entered a guilty plea today (December 30) before a Phoenix judge on four counts of theft, drug, and animal cruelty charges.

Per the plea agreement, DMX (Earl Simmons) will be sentenced on Friday January 30. The agreement will cover one count of possession of narcotic drugs, a misdemeanor county of animal cruelty, possession of marijuana, and one count of theft.

DMX was extradited back to Phoenix 10 days ago after skipping a scheduled court date.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio offered a $5000 award for the rapper’s capture, which lead to an unidentified Georgia women revealing DMX’s location at producer Scott Storch’s Florida mansion.

The animal cruelty charges are the result of a May 9 raid of the rapper’s Arizona home, where police seized 12 dehydrated and underfed pitbulls.

Although 3 pitbulls were found buried around the property, police declared there was no evidence of dogfighting.

The ID theft charges stem from DMX’s April visit to a Scottsdale, Arizona hospital.

Authorities accused the rapper of giving a someone else’s name and social security number to avoid paying a $7,500 medical tab.

At press time, DMX is still scheduled to release a Hip-Hop album (Walk With Me Now) and gospel album (You’ll Fly With Me Later) in January 2009.

DMX is preparing to travel during the holiday season — to another jail.

His home away from home is currently the Miami-Dade County Jail, but DMX’s lawyer Bradford Cohen confirms the rapper is being extradited to Maricopa County Jail in Arizona at this very moment.

Earlier this month, FBI agents captured the rapper on an island off Miami Beach over a bench warrant issued for a missed a court appearance.

DMX also faces drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges in Arizona, however — and now he’s going to have to face the music in the desert, too.

BTW, we’re told Arizona cops plan to put X in pink handcuffs as a belated B-day present.
