A good friend of my good friend called me today and said that he had been told by a very, very reliable source that Lil Kim is going to be joining TLC. YES. Lil Kim assuming the rapper role in TLC? Well, here is the latest. The details are being worked out where Kim will join them on their tour in Japan that’s coming up. OK, at first it sounded crazy, but on second thought, not so insane. Kim in an established name in the game and going overseas, they will probably fare well. I don’t know if this is a permanent change, but as a temporary move…not a bad idea.

Lil Kim did an awesome job on dancing with the stars last night! A few days ago she was interviewed by Clay Cane of BET.com and the interview was getting good until he asked her about her plastic surgery. Here are some excerpts:

Do you feel like you get the respect that you deserve in hip hop?

No, I don’t, but it’s okay because God is going to give me that. I give the word to Him. No, I don’t, it’s cool. I take what I deserve and that’s what I’m doing now. I’m doing what I have to do and I’m doing what’s going to make Kim satisfied.

Do you have any thoughts on Remy Ma now that she is in jail?

No, I don’t even think we need to bring her into this conversation. I wish her the best. When I was locked up she kicked me when I was down, but I won’t do that to her. You know what I mean? Because I’ve been there and I know how it feels to be locked up. To be honest with you, my condolences and my heart goes out to her, but at the end of the day she’s not my friend. I’m just making a point I won’t do what somebody else did to me. When I was locked up she kicked me, but I wouldn’t kick her. I don’t do that because I’m a real person. I won’t do that.

Let me ask you this Kim, this is a big question that we get from everybody and you can decide if you don’t want to answer it or not. There is a perception in the African-American community that Lil’ Kim didn’t like the way she looked as a Black woman so she got plastic surgery to make herself look less Black. What’s your reaction—

For the zillionth time, we know Kim is on “Dancing With The Stars,” but why? If you didn’t watch the vid, here is the text.

“When I was in prison me and my girls used to watch it. My girlfriends would say, ‘Kim, you need to be on that show,’ it used to be the number one show in prison…I’m totally not what you guys think I am. That’s why I’m doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ because you will see who the real Kim is…I’ve never had dance experience, aside from doing videos and stuff like that…It’s different, it’s very different. It’s not easy.”

I wonder if she still stays in touch with her “girlfriends.”

Grammy Award winning rapper Lil’ Kim will be one of thirteen celebs showing off their moves when the eighth season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars debuts next month.

This year’s cast was announced during a primetime event that found each participating celebrity revealed one at a time during ABC’s regular line-up Sunday night (February 8).

Kim, who is currently working on her fifth studio album, to be released later this year, was the first contestant revealed.

She will be joined by reality stunt performer Steve-O, of MTV’s Jackass and Wildboyz; Access Hollywood co-Anchor Nancy O’Dell; NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor; Olympic gold medal gymnast Shawn Johnson; Country singer Chuck Wicks; actress Denise Richards; Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak; former Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle; actor/comedian David Alan Grier; rodeo athlete Ty Murray; and singer/songwriter Jewel.

The new season of Dancing With the Stars debuts on ABC at 8pm EST on March 9.

The March 9 date is already significant for Lil’ Kim, as it will mark the 12th anniversary of the death of the Notorious B.I.G.

“I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!

Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer”

Charli Baltimore
is speaking out about Lil Kim, claiming that she is delusional:

Charli totally opens up and gave Yo! Raps some very valuable information we are sure most rap fans didn’t know.

“Me and Faith had words and we definitely had our little moments but we never had any physical altercations. It wasn’t anything totally disrespectful. When B.I.G. passed, I called Faith and gave my condolences to her children because I thought that was the right thing to do. She knew about me and I knew that B.I.G. still had feelings for her. They were going through a separation, a divorce. The problem that comes is that Lil Kim made it seem like she had a relationship with B.I.G. that they really didn’t have,” Baltimore said about her relationship with Biggie’s wife Faith Evans. Charli went on to talk about Biggie’s “wannabe” girlfriend Lil Kim.

“Kim goes out of her way to say she was B.I.G.’s girl. No, Kim wasn’t his girl! Straight up! She wasn’t! She benefited from the situation because she became Lil Kim. She has a career and she’s grateful to a n*gga for helping her in that aspect, but she was never his girl!”

“Kim… I don’t know what the hell she thought or maybe she’s delusional as to what B.I.G. and her had going on. I don’t know,” Baltimore added.

Charli remembered a crazy situation that happened at B.I.G.’s funeral. “I remember being at the funeral and Lil Kim fell out on the floor and I was just like ‘Yo! What the fuck!’ Like, Faith was up there singing and she was very composed and very respectful. And here goes Lil Kim on the floor and she starts rolling around on the floor! I was like ‘What the fuck is going on?’”

Furthermore Baltimore cleared up rumors of her having a romantic relationship with Jay-Z.

“There should never be a point where one person is putting in 60% and the other person is putting in 150%. That goes with any kind of relationship. I don’t know how Jay is now, but back then, I felt as though Jay was all about Jay.

Saying that Kim was just a jump off is what Faith and Ms. Wallace did not want to say. We guess she had it coming since she got out of pocket first. Like a gangbang, it’s flying at Lil Kim from all angles now. We can’t wait to hear the rebuttal.
