Chad Johnson has never been in trouble while the law while in the NFL those statements are accurate. Information has come out though, while in college at Oregon State he did have a previous arrest for for Domestic Violence.
Here are the details of that arrest.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, Johnson was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery in L.A. on February 7, 2000 … just before he began playing football for Oregon State University.
Sources close to the case tell us the victim was his GF at the time … and she told police the football star had slapped her in the face after he accused her of cheating on him.
According to court records, Johnson — 22 years old at the time — pled no contest … and the court found him guilty of domestic battery.
Any time you are arrested for anything, the demons from your past will come out. Does something that happened 12 years ago have an effect on what is happening in present day? That is something you have to decide for yourself.
But, everyone history is on display now. Lozada and Johnson’s past and present will be a topic of discussion because in the end this is a battle of he said/she said.
