“George is a Spanish-speaking minority with many black family members and friends,” Robert Zimmerman wrote. “He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever.” (CNN)
From the reports that I have read — he lived with his parents in Sanford. He has also withdrawn from attending Seminole state college.
Zimmerman said his father was a magistrate for Virginia Supreme Court and mother was a deputy court clerk. He stated that he had the utmost respect for law enforcement and aspired to be an officer someday.
His father being a judge in the same town might indicate that he knew police enforcement officials in the city.
Hmm So George’s dad was a Retired Judge? Think that has anything to do with why he wasn’t arrested? So the Police didn’t take George’s clothes for evidence so we will never know if there was trace evidence on them, think that shows incompetence. Hmm the police didn’t drug test George, might George have been high himself? Too many unanswerd Questions.
If he respected law enforcement so much and aspired to be an officer, why did he not obey their orders. Doesn’t sound like respect to me. Thank God he is not a cop, it’s no telling how many people he would have killed, and claimed he feared for his life.

Obviously it has a lot to do with him not being arrested. Whether he was under substance abuse doesn’t matter. He respected law enforcement enough to want to help them. He tried to act on his own in order to help the law enforcement. It sounds natural since it was his dream. I wish he were a cop. Imagine how many other kids he’d bust if the rest took the risk like him.

So George,s Dad is a White retired judge living in an afluent neighborhood adjacent to sanford close to the gated community where this took place–100 killings a month around there and this is the only 1 where the police chief and the ATT GEN has gotten out of bed and gone to. within an hr they r atr the police station -1 hr later good ol George is released under selfdefence — even tho the lead investagator had SERIOUS doubts about his story–then they do not contact the parents for 3 days even tho it shows in another report that they knew who trayvon was at 3 am but still lsited him as JOHN DOE — sure his daddy didnt get involed and it was an honest case of Self D –and i can turn lead into gold

Trayvon was a child, killed by an adult man. I don’t know if he was racist, he did make racist comments on tape. I don’t know if he was a coward, he did chase a child while holding a loaded gun. He did not stand his ground, he was running and chasing this poor child. I do think he is stupid, probably dropped out of school because he had problems passing his classes, he seems to have a low iq and his processing ability seems marred. Irregardless, arrest him and let a jury of his peers judge him, as our system is equipped to do?

When the 911 operator said are you following him? George said YES!The operator said we don’t need you doing that at tis time George should have stood his ground the police were minutes away! Been trying to figure out exactly why this kid was killed. One thing that has been thrown about is that Zimmermans father is a Judge,and that he is using his influence to help his son. According to News One ( News for Black America) his Father worked as a court Magistrate until he retired in 2006…A Magestrate is not a Judge.
This is not going to be a fair trial due to his mother and father working for and with these people they need to bring people from differen states to handle somebody that don’t know nothing about these people I pray everyday that the martins get justice rest in paradise
