After numerous false alarms, the day has finally come in which Beyoncé Knowles has given birth to her first child!
The 30-year-old superstar reportedly welcomed a healthy baby girl named BLU IVY CARTER at New York City’s Lenox Hospital on Saturday night (January 7) via a scheduled C-section with husband Jay-Z by her side.
According to the NY Daily News, Miss Knowles checked in under the name of Ingrid Jackson with ABC News telling that she arrived at the hospital on Friday night.
Doing everything possible to keep the birthing process a private affair, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are said to have shelled out a hefty $1.3 million to rent out the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hospital during their stay – though another hospital source dismissed the claim, saying, “We don’t have entire floors sitting empty at Lenox Hill.”
