Guess we finally figured out the mystery behind why Mariah and Nick Cannon jumped the broom so quickly. The multi-platinum singer claims she and her new hubby waited until their wedding to have “complete intimacy.” While she doesn’t specify exactly what that means, it’s pretty clear we’re to believe Nick didn’t hit that until after they got married – a whopping two months into their relationship.

“It’s not that we had no intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” Mimi told the U.K.’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “It’s just me and my feelings. I definitely don’t want to push it on anybody else. But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is.”
