Phew! Jay-Z Will Still Curse and Beyonce Won’t Share With Tabloids
Along with the birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s first child came a bunch of wild rumors. To take things even further, a fake poem said to be written by Hov, also hit the Internets. In the alleged poem, we were led to believe Jay renounced using the word “b*tch” in his lyrics –a pretty hard feat for any mainstream rapper. Read the fakeout below.
“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the world bitch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it,” the site quotes. “No man will degrade her, or call her names. I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.”
Most of us were pretty skeptical of Star Magazine’s alleged first Beyonce post-pregnancy interview. I don’t think any of us were intentionally sh*tting on the publication, but let’s keep it 100 (Birdman voice) Bey’s first interview since giving birth isn’t going to a celeb-gossip magazine. In fact, her reps told AccessHollywood the interview was “completely made up.”
Star Magazine reportedly responded to the claims by saying:
However, when reached by Access Hollywood on Tuesday, an editor for the magazine said the publication stands by their story.
“It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team.”
