Suge Knight Arrested In Las Vegas For Marijuana, Traffic Violation

Marion “Suge” Knight was arrested in Las Vegas on Wednesday (February 8 ) after police discovered marijuana during a traffic stop. TMZ reports that the former Death Row honcho–who helped to break acts like Tupac and Snoop Dogg–was making an unsafe lane change in a black Bentley at 5:34pm on Wednesday. Cops then found a small amount of weed in his possession and also found multiple warrants outstanding upon running Knight’s name through the system. He was processed in a nearby jail and then released a short time later.
This latest instance only adds to Suge’s mounting driving-related legal woes. Last summer, he was sentenced to 36 months probation for driving on a suspended license. Suge pled no contest to this charge and was given a slap on the wrist of probation. Ironically, earlier in the year, the same truck was impounded in Beverly Hills after Suge was stopped (again) for driving on a suspended license.
TMZ reported, “Knight was cited — but not arrested– and after his truck was hauled away, he asked a random female onlooker for a ride to a nearby location … and she obliged.” You can always depend on the kindness of strangers…
