Kareem Abdul-Jabbar talked to the hosts of The View about his new children’s book. Abdul-Jabbar said he wrote a kid’s book about black inventors in order to give African-American youth something to learn about their own people outside of context of civil rights or slavery. The hosts praise him for his successful writing and basketball career.
