Houston was seen out in Hollywood Thursday night for a Grammy party … (below). She even briefly took the mic and performed a song while she was there — what would become her last performance. As you see in the pictures she was very happy.

More details surrounding the death of Whitney Houston have emerged.
The 48-year-old singer was found dead earlier this afternoon (February 11) inside of the Beverly Hills Hilton in Los Angeles.
Sources stated that friends found her unconscious in her fourth floor hotel room.
Paramedics attempted to a resuscitate Whitney Houston, but their efforts failed.
“She has been positively identified by friends, family and co-workers that were with her at the hotel and the next of kin have already been notified,” LT. Mark Rosen said. “There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent at this time and it’s thoroughly being investigated by Beverly Hills Police detectives.”
Representatives for Whitney Houston’s ex, Ray J., have denied reports that he was the person that discovered Whitney Houston’s body.
Sources told Hiphopnewsdaily, that Houston was found by her brother Michael, who discovered the singer dead in the bathtub.

Details are still coming in Ray J friend said, Ray J is the one who found Whitney Houston. But Ray J publicist is saying Ray had not made it to the Hotel yet………HMMM.
Whitney was found dead at the Beverly Hills Inn. She was preparing to go to Clives Davis Party Tonight.
Whitney Houston died this afternoon … a rep for the singer told the Associated Press.
Houston won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards during her record-breaking career. Her album “Whitney” was the first female album to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard Charts. She has sold 200 million albums world wide.
Houston holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Grambling State University in Louisiana.
Houston had one child, Bobbi Kristina, with husband Bobby Brown. Houston and Brown were married from 1992-2007.
